I predict that Lina will love her job because she gets to run and explore the city. She always wanted to have the messenger job and now she got it. Doon will like his job because he is able to find out reasons why he thinks that the mayor isn't doing anything about the light for the city. I think that Doon and Lina will become friends and find out what will help the city from entire darkness.
With Doon's determination and Lina's curiosity, they just might be able to find out about the box in the closet that will save the City of Ember.
If I could change one thing in the book it would be to change the mayor. It seems like he would be a better principal then a mayor. ' Kids behaving badly, nonsense!' He would say something like that and he seems more like a principal.
I think that they will save the city together because Lina was thinking about her and Doon becoming friends again, and I think that they can work well together. Lina wants to know what is going on - while being very curious- and Doon wants to help the city by finding out where the power box is. Lina might come across the box in the closet from being a messenger and Doon might find out how to open the box with his determination. They will work together to open the box, and Doon will use it win the Pipeworks, and Lina will find out good information throughout the city.

hey love the pictures it really gives a good image in your mind so it will help us under stand the story more. what roll do you think that doon plays in the book? Why do you think do you think the writer included him? What about lina?
